Ex-WWE Diva 'Sunny' arrested three times in a week

BRANFORD, Conn. -- A local woman who formerly worked as a WWE "Diva" appeared in court on Friday for the third time in three days on charges related to domestic violence, police said.

Tamara Sytch, 39, was arrested for the first time Tuesday night on charges of disorderly conduct. She was held on a $500 bond and was arraigned on Wednesday.

Around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, she was arrested again for disorderly conduct, third-degree strangulation, and violation of a protective order. This time, she was held on a $25,000 bond.

She was released Thursday after her arraignment and was arrested for the third time at 8 p.m. that night for violating a protective order.

She was held on bond and was arraigned in New Haven Superior Court on Friday.

Sytch was known as Tammy Lynn Sytch and Sunny during her wrestling career. She worked for Stamford-based WWE from 1995 to 1998 and from 2009 to 2011. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

WWE released the following statement to TMZ.com on Friday: "As part of WWE's Former Talent Program, we sent Ms. Sytch to rehabilitation three times, with all costs covered by WWE. Unfortunately, Ms. Sytch continues to make poor personal choices. WWE will continue to provide assistance should she want to take advantage of it."
