Free KidPix photo ID programs will be held Sept. 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. in East Rockaway and on Sept. 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Rockville Centre.

The events will be held at the East Rockaway Library at 477 Atlantic Ave. and at the Rockville Centre Library at 221 N. Village Ave. The programs, sponsored by Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, will provide participating families with a wallet-sized ID card that includes the child’s name, physical description, contact information and photograph. The child’s fingerprint also is included on the back of the card. If a child is missing, parents can give the card to law enforcement officials.

The cards are processed at the event. For more information, call 516-571-6000.
