Rehearsals for the Broadway musical "Rebecca," scheduled to start Monday before previews Oct. 30, have been delayed. The death of a major investor (responsible for $4.5 million of the $12 million budget) has sent producers scrambling to make sure the unnamed investor's commitment will be honored. The show, a '30s gothic mystery about the shadow of a dead wife on a new married couple, was supposed to open last season, but was postponed because of funding concerns.
