Class A

West Islip (18-1) vs. Farmingdale (16-2)

Tuesday, Hofstra's Shuart Stadium, 8 p.m.

About Farmingdale: The Dalers are hot, having gone 10-0 in winning the Nassau Conference I title and riding a 14-game winning streak. They like to run and they like to shoot. The offense features the county's No. 6 scorer Sal Tuttle, who has 69 points, including 35 assists, third-best in Nassau. In three playoff games, Tuttle has seven goals and seven assists. He scored two goals with two assists and teammate Dan Rogers had a hat trick in Wednesday's tough 9-8 victory over rival Massapequa in the county Class A title game at Hofstra.

About West Islip: The defending state champion Lions are even hotter, with an 18-game winning streak. They used a breathtaking 5-0 third-quarter binge to pull away from Ward Melville, 16-9, in Thursday night's Suffolk Class A championship game at Stony Brook for their sixth straight county crown. North Carolina-bound Nicky Galasso became Suffolk's leading scorer with a four-goal, four-assist night and now has 114 points, with 56 goals. Towson-bound midfielder Andrew Hodgson contributed three goals and two assists. He has 78 points, 41 goals.

Class B

Garden City (16-3) vs. Comsewogue (17-1)

Tuesday, Hofstra's Shuart Stadium, 3:30 p.m.

About Garden City: This is the fifth straight LIC appearance for the Trojans, but they haven't won any of the previous four. Could this be their year? The defense has been a strength, allowing just 4.3 goals per game, and is led by Harvard-bound juniors Stephen Jahelka and Brian Fischer. Over the past month, the offense has clicked, averaging 12.2 goals during a nine-game win streak. Sophomore attackman Devin Dwyer and Johns Hopkins-bound junior midfielder Tom Gordon are the offensive sparkplugs.

About Comsewogue: A pair of senior midfielders powers the Warriors. Bryant-bound Alex Zomerfeld leads with 30 goals and 31 assists and Tom Cleary, headed to Dowling, has 39 and 13. They are no strangers to performing in tough, close games. Zomerfeld scored the winner with 31.1 seconds left in a 9-8 win over Hauppauge in the Suffolk final. Cleary notched the winners in two marathon regular-season contests: a 9-8 four overtime win against Shoreham-Wading River and an 8-7, three-OT victory over Rocky Point.

Class C

Manhasset (17-0) vs. Glenn (11-6)

Tuesday, Hofstra's Shuart Stadium, 5:30 p.m.

About Manhasset: The defending state Class C champions hold the longest winning streak in the state at 33 games and are ranked No. 2 in the nation. The defense, led by sophomore Rob Duvnjak and senior Kevin Coleman, has been superb, averaging 4.2 goals allowed per game. Penn-bound midfielder Drew Belinsky (36 goals, 14 assists) and attack Chris Cook (30, 27) are go-to players on offense. Syracuse-bound Ricky Buhr is one of the top faceoff takers on the Island.

About Glenn: The Knights are playing in their first Long Island title game in their fourth season as a varsity program. Sophomore midfielder Tom Forsberg, a converted attack, is the leading goal-scorer with 48, and had six in an 11-6 win over Bayport-Blue Point in the Suffolk final. Brothers Matt and Joe Gannon have been productive on offense with 67 and 46 points, respectively, as has Tom's older brother, senior Matt Forsberg (42).
