Lynbrook block party, concert to benefit warriors
The Lynbrook Fire Department will host an end of summer block party and Salute to Our Heroes concert on Sunday, Sept. 30.
The event will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at Rescue Hook, Ladder and Bucket Company No. 1 at 189 Earle Ave., between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road. The party will benefit Nassau County Firefighter’s Operation Wounded Warrior.
The suggested donation is $20 per person and includes food, two drinks and live music from Jimmy Kenny and the Pirate Beach Band, Playback and others. Service members in uniform will be admitted free.
