Monster Jam Trucks are coming to Farmingdale.
Two monster trucks from the 2012-13 Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Tour are scheduled to be parked at Farmingdale High School’s auto shop before performances at Nassau Coliseum this weekend, beginning Jan. 25.
Farmingdale High School automotive technology students will be educated by Monster Jam mechanics and team personnel on the various components of the trucks and how the trucks are prepared and repaired for each show during the Monster Jam Tour.
The trucks will be parked at the school Tuesday through Thursday but the event is open only to students at the school. One of the trucks scheduled to appear is “Grinder,” one of the most popular trucks on the tour with a Facebook page that has nearly 60,000 likes.
