Updated 6:57 p.m. Beyoncé may have lip-synced at the presidential inauguration last week, but she won't be making that mistake twice.

The songstress, who said she sang along with a prerecorded track at Obama's ceremony, said she is "well-rehearsed" to perform at the Super Bowl's halftime show - and that the vocals will be live, and all her own.

"I will absolutely be singing live," she said at a news conference Thursday.

Before even addressing the controversy, Beyoncé belted out an a capella version of "The Star Spangled Banner," the song she was slammed for lip-synching at the inauguration.

"I am a perfectionist, and one thing about me, I practice till my feet bleed. And I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra," said Beyoncé of the inauguration, adding that the weather was also a factor.

"I did not feel comfortable taking a risk," she added, especially at such an "emotional" event.

Even though the track was prerecorded, which Beyoncé said is common practice in the music business, she said she was "very proud" of her performance.
