Artist talk: Ahmed Alsoudani
Iraqi-American artist Ahmed Alsoudani will present eight new paintings, including two mural-sized canvases, at his solo exhibit at Haunch of Venison, which runs through November. In this new series, Alsoudani explores conflict and its aftermath, focusing on the individual impulses behind violence. The gallery will hold a reception for the artist on Thursday evening.
