Police are on the hunt for a three people who have been terrorizing women in Brooklyn and Queens, and demanding their ATM card and PIN numbers at gunpoint. The suspects appear to have become bolder in their armed robberies, as five of their seven attacks occurred just last month.

Cops say the suspects — two men and one woman — target women who are about to enter their vehicle. They hold the woman at gunpoint and demand her ATM card and PIN number. The group then drives the victim to an ATM location, where they withdraw money from the bank accounts.

With the exception of one victim — a 26-year-old —, all the victims have been older women between the ages of 49 and 69. The last five robberies in January happened during the hours of 9 and 11:30 a.m.

The other two robberies have happened during evening hours.
Police said the three suspects are said to be between 25- to 35-years-old.

The suspects first struck last year on April 4 at 10:45 p.m. when they targeted a 64-year-old woman in front of 182-27 Grand Central Pkwy.

Over 20 months passed before the group struck again. Days before Christmas on December 22, 2010, they suspects approached a 58-year-old woman near Kendrick Place at about 7:30 p.m., police said.

Since the December incident, the suspects have been on an armed robbery spree. In just over two weeks in January, the group attacked five women, police said.

Police gave this account: On January 8, a 26-year-old woman was targeted on 113 Street at 9 a.m. and six days later, a 69-year-old woman was targeted on Marengo Street at 11:20 a.m. The last three robberies happened in quick succession: a 48-year-old woman was approached on the corner of Pitkin and Pennsylvania avenues at 11:30 a.m. on January 18; then a 52-year-old woman was robbed near East 56 Street and Linden Boulevard at 10 a.m. on January 23; and the next day a 51-year-old was targeted neat Atlantic Avenue and South Oxford Street at 11 a.m.
