Jets' tough stretch begins with visit from Niners
After three weeks, the Jets find themselves at the top of the AFC East. But with a tough two-game stretch on the schedule starting Sunday, it's too early to say if this team is for real. Up first, the 49ers come to town Sunday for an afternoon game at MetLife Stadium. Here's three keys to the matchup of 2-1 teams. (FOX, 1 p.m.)
Deserted island
No more "Will he or won't he" when it comes to Darrelle Revis. The shutdown corner was shut down for the season after tearing his ACL last week. Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson will start at CB, and running back Joe McKnight will get "a ton" of time in the defensive secondary, according to head coach Rex Ryan.
Running for his life
RB Shonn Greene is still starting, but for long? He's carried the ball 57 times while averaging a meager 2.8 yards per carry. He doesn't figure to make much of a dent in the Niners' D-line.
The turnover battle
Minnesota was able to upset the Niners, in part, forcing San Francisco to turn the ball over. Gang Green has a plus-two turnover margin this season, which the team needs to build on for a victory Sunday.
