Survivor of Aurora movie theater attack plans to sue: Report
A man who was in the Colorado movie theater where James Holmes allegedly shot dozens of people is planning to sue, according to a report.
Torrence Brown Jr., who was not harmed in the attack, said he suffers from extreme trauma after one of his best friends was shot dead, TMZ reported Tuesday.
Brown's lawyer, Donald Karpel, reportedly told the website that he plans to sue the theater for not adequately guarding its emergency doors, Holmes' doctors for not monitoring his mental condition more closely, and Warner Bros. for releasing a violent movie.
Calls to Karpel's office were not returned Tuesday.
