Prince Amukamara's hazing may be over, but the building of a starting cornerback continues. That doesn't mean only technique and skill, but attitude as well.

"I do get told that cornerbacks are just supposed to have the most swag, and a lot of confidence," the second-year player said. "I think that just develops through your play. I mean, if you make plays, the more confidence you get."

Amukamara figures to have a chance to make plays Friday night against the Bears. While he was mostly in run support against the Jets, who were without their starting receivers and had difficulty protecting their quarterback, the Bears bring a different look to this third preseason game.

"I'm sure I'll see a lot more action this week," Amukamara said. "They have [Brandon] Marshall and Alshon Jeffery."

And that means more of a chance to develop the swagger that many are looking to see from him.
