ALBANY — Early voting for enrolled political party members begins Saturday and continues to June 26 for the primary elections on June 28.

The races include the Democratic and Republican primaries to pick each party’s nominee for governor and the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor.

Registered voters may cast early ballots at any of the early voting polling sites in their county. The number of early voting sites is limited and the polling place a voter may be used to in their neighborhood may not be open.

There will be 27 sites for early voting in Nassau County. They can be found here.

The early voting hours at the selected Nassau County sites are:

Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is part of a new state law.

Voters may confirm they are registered to vote and get a list of early voting near their home through a state Board of Elections tool online at voterlookup.elections.ny.gov
