Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively marry, reports say
Blake Lively wore Marchesa and exchanged Lorraine Schwartz wedding rings with Ryan Reynolds when the two "Green Lantern" stars were married in South Carolina on Sunday.
Martha Stewart Weddings magazine said Monday that its wedding team collaborated with Charleston event-planner Tara Guérard for the nuptials at the Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens in nearby Mount Pleasant. Lively's friends Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig designed the custom Marchesa gowns for the bride, 25, and her bridesmaids, and Christian Louboutin shoes created specifically for the event, the magazine said.
The wedding, first reported by People, took place at the plantation where the romantic Nicholas Sparks movie adaptation "The Notebook" was filmed in 2004, Us Weekly said. At the reception, said People, Lively's friend Florence Welch, of Florence and the Machine, performed three songs.
Lively's ex-boyfriend, her "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley, 25, told People Monday, "I'm so happy for her," adding, "I actually didn't know until last night, but I think it's fantastic. . . . I couldn't be happier for her."
This is Lively's first marriage. Reynolds wed actress Scarlett Johansson in September 2008 in British Columbia, but the two announced their separation in 2010 and were divorced last year. He was first spotted with Lively in October.
The couple has been living together in a reported $2 million-plus country home they purchased earlier this year in the Westchester town of Bedford.
