Spring Fling, HarborFest come to Port Wash
Port Washington merchants are gearing up for the season’s third Spring Fling, to be held Thursday evening, and the 21st annual HarborFest, the following Sunday.
From 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, shoppers can stroll Main Street from the "boulevard to the bay," take free trolley rides and participate in a scavenger hunt.
The free event is organized by business and civic groups of the Re-Imagining Committee and the Town of North Hempstead.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, the HarborFest Dock Day and Craft Festival at the town dock on lower Main Street will feature a craft fair, entertainment and model boat regatta. Admission is free.
One-hour cruises on a Port Washington Water Taxi will cost $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under 12.
