Town Focus: Day 1 in Bay Shore
Today, I start this month’s Town Focus series in Bay Shore, the South Shore hamlet whose historical society proudly says boasts a more than 300-year history.
Accordingly, I’m beginning the week at the Gibson-Mack-Holt House, built in 1820 and owned by the Bay Shore Historical Society, where I will meet with society president Barry Dlouhy.
Later this week, we’ll post a story and video on Bay Shore’s history.
In the next five days, I’ll also meet with representatives from the Bay Shore Chamber of Commerce, the school district, and other important groups that make the community what it is.
You can find me working from and roaming about town. Feel free to stop and say hello or pass on a suggestion for someone to meet or something to cover in Bay Shore.
Otherwise, follow me on Twitter, send me an email, or comment on this post.
