Sunny, warm Thursday before changeable weather in coming days
A brief respite from cool weather is on the way for Thursday, forecasters said.
But if you wait, temperatures are going to drop again, bounce back up, and drop again by early next week, with the possibility of snow showers Monday night into Tuesday, the National Weather Service predicted.
The roller coaster includes Thursday's high of about 65 degrees, a dramatic change from earlier this month with highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s.
The milder air started coming in Wednesday, with a high of about 56 that will only drop a few degrees Wednesday night before shooting up in what is expected to be a sunny day, the weather service said.
Then, after overnight showers Thursday and winds of up to 15 mph, Friday's high goes back to just 48 degrees, the weather service said, with chilly breezes of up to 17 mph.
The low Friday night will be in the mid-30s, before a sunny but cool Saturday with another high of about 48. Then another warmup arrives, with a high in the mid 50s Sunday with overcast skies.
But Monday brings another change: the chance of rain in the afternoon, with a 57 degree high, and Monday night, a 40% chance of snow showers with a drop to the 30s at night. The high Tuesday will be just in the mid 40s with more rain and snow showers a 30% possibility, the weather service said.
