The rain is ending on Long Island.
Temperatures will drop down to about 35 degrees on Monday night, with winds at a high of about 15 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Earlier, the showers across the region dampened the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Manhattan, but revelers turned out nonetheless.
Tuesday and Wednesday were predicted to be sunny with highs around 60, the weather service said. Rain is likely again on Thursday night, before spring begins on Friday.
