On June 11, the Southampton hotspot is holding a release party for Kelly Rowland’s new hit single, "Commander," a sure-to-be club anthem for the summer months. Rowland is expected to stop by the lounge, which is located at 1181 North Sea Rd. in Southampton.
"Equus" party
The play "Equus" is opening June 11 at the John Drew Theater at Guild Hall, located at 158 Main St. in East Hampton. Alec Baldwin and Sam Underwood star in the 1973 play. At the June 10 preview showing, playwright Peter Shaffer, the man behind the production, is set to attend, along with Ellin Satlzman, Dina Merrill, Alan Alda, Kevin Brown and others. Dinner summer kickoff
On June 11, Douglas Hannant and Frederick Anderson are hosting a Hamptons summer kickoff dinner at Georgica Restaurant & Lounge, at 108 Wainscott Stone Rd. in Wainscott. actress and socialite Annie Churchill, CNN correspondent Alina Cho, actress Jennifer Creel, fashion editor Nina Garcia and others are expected. Cocktails will be served at 8 p.m. and dinner at 9 p.m.
Grey Gardens fundraiser
The annual East Hampton event, benefiting The Hetrick-Martin Institute, home of the Harvey Milk High School, will take place at the iconic East Hampton estate Grey Gardens from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 12 Although tickets and sponsorships are sold out, you can still make a donation to the institute by checking out their site here.
Jerome trunk show
Blue & Cream is holding a Jerome Trunk Show with Emily Jerome, who will be previewing her new collection. Actress Mamie Gummer (and daughter of Meryl Streep), eco-friendly clothing designer Jessica Joffe, Emily Jerome, and Kelly Killoren Bensimon will be there as well. The show will be held at the Blue & Cream’s East Hampton location at 60 On The Circle from 7 to 9 p.m. June 12.
