Tonight's community meeting for residents in the William Floyd School District to discuss leasing space in the high school to a drug-rehabilitation program has been canceled because of the weather.

Daytop Village Inc., a drug rehabilitation agency, has applied for state approval to run the treatment center at the high school. Officials at the school approached the agency when it realized that students with drug problems had problems getting transportation to outside agencies.

The district said it will reschedule the meeting.
