Long Island Index Downtown Reports

Studying what had worked in other regions, the Index focused on how much housing could be built in our downtowns. This development strategy has the advantage of being near transit and helps to enliven the downtown life of the community. Though not a downtown, the Index also did a deep dive into the potential of building housing in the Nassau Hub area which would have created a new downtown community for the region.
