Billy Joel reportedly purchased another property on Long Island, in addition to his homes in Sag Harbor and on Centre Island in Oyster Bay.

The Hicksville native bought the 5-acre property in January for $10.7 million, according to the New York Post.

Public real estate records indicate that the limited-liability corporation Middlesea Farm East — a name similar to Joel’s Centre Island estate, dubbed Middlesea — purchased the home on Dec. 28, with the deed recorded on Jan. 25. No mortgages are listed, indicating the purchase was made in cash.

The property was last bought by LLC Ecurie Carolex NY for $5.4 million in 2006. It's in a celebrity-filled area where Alec Baldwin, Robert Downey Jr., Neil Patrick Harris, Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyoncé and Jay-Z have homes.

A Zillow listing shows it is a relatively modest four-bedroom, five-bath, two-story home of 3,500 square feet. More significantly, the property includes a large stable and tack room near a circular horse-walker, and three fenced-off grassy areas known in equestrian circles as Grand Prix fields.

Joel’s wife, Alexis Joel, 43, is an equestrian whom Hampton Classic spokesman Marty Bauman described to Newsday in 2019 as "a competitor and a rider here, who competes in adult amateur hunters," an equestrian division in which riders are judged subjectively on form and style as they guide their horses through obstacles in a ring. Additionally, her and Billy Joel’s daughters, 9-year-old Della Rose and 7-year-old Remy Anne, have been taught to ride.

The property also includes a pool, a pond and a gated entrance to a long driveway.

Joel’s representative had no comment Monday.

Grammy Legend and Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Famer Joel, 75, lives primarily on his 26-acre Centre Island estate and has an additional home in Sag Harbor. In May of last year, he put the former on the market for $49 million. It went unsold and was taken off the market in November, with Joel's broker citing renovation work and saying it would return for sale.

Joel has two concerts remaining on his long-running Madison Square Garden monthly residency, set for June 8 and July 25. That final show will be the 104th in his residency and his 150th overall at the storied venue.
