Amanda Spaccarelli, April's Scholar Artist for Suffolk County

Amanda Spaccarelli is a senior at Ward Melville High School.  This year, after working as the art director during her junior year,  she became the editor-in-chief of the Ward Melville High School yearbook, Invictus.

In 2014 Amanda was inducted into the “Quill & Scroll Journalism Honor Society” and won the best theme coverage award at the Gettysburg Yearbook Experience that same summer. She also won an “Excellent” for best infographic design in the Journalism Education Association Write Offs in Boston, MA. 

Outside of her media arts activities, Amanda is a member of the Sparklers Twirling team and coaches younger twirlers.

Amanda’s post-graduation plans include attending a 4 year college with a major in communication design or advertising.
