Daniel Rudin, Suffolk County Long Island Scholar Artist for May
Daniel Rudin, a senior at Half Hollow Hills High School West, is a composer of classical who brings an original and fresh voice to his music.
Daniel has gained recognition for his compositions from ASCAP, Tribeca New Music, The National Young Arts Foundation, NYSSMA, among others. Daniel has been conducting his studies of composition, music theory, and music history at the Juilliard Schools Pre-College Division since 2012.
Additionally, he engages in private studies in piano and voice, and has enjoyed playing violin in orchestra throughout his years in high school. Daniel also enjoys participating in other areas of the performing arts, from singing with the All-National Honors Chorus in Nashville to performing in his school theater program and playing piano at local venues.
Daniel plans to pursue the arts at Yale University.
