Somewhere inside Marlins Park, the brand new stadium that opened officially Wednesday night in Miami, baseball games are played.

But from these Marlins Park photos, it appears to occur somewhere in between the aquarium near home plate and the bikini-clad poolgoers in the outfield. For those fans among the sell-out crowd of 36,061 who went to the baseball game portion of the evening were treated to six innings of no hits and a 4-1 loss by the home fish.

And if you're really into the Marlins, new stadiums and the like, the Miami Herald went big on its coverage.
