As opposed to, say, a coffee-table book about coffee tables, like what Kramer wrote on this "Seinfeld" episode.

It's called "Baseball Yesterday & Today," by Josh Leventhal, and it's a breezy read with terrific photos about various elements of the game's history. Who was the first person to win the Cy Young Award in both leagues?

UPDATE, 1:07 p.m. CDT: We have a winner! Harry knew that Gaylord Perry, by winning the AL Cy Young Award in 1972 and the NL in 1979, was the first pitcher to win the award in both leagues. I asked that because the book has a really cool photo of Perry in his brown-and-yellow Padres uniform.
