Zack Greinke will try to extend scoreless innings streak vs. Mets Sunday

New dad Zack Greinke was a bit cranky Saturday when reporters asked him about his new son, Bode Nicholas.
Though he didn't have anything to say, he'll let his right arm do the talking Sunday at Citi Field as he looks to extend his streak of 432/3 scoreless innings.
Greinke's ERA has dropped from 1.90 to 1.30 since the streak began at the end of the eighth inning on June 13. The last time he faced the Mets, on July 4, he pitched seven shutout innings.
He originally was scheduled to start Friday but flew back to Los Angeles on Thursday for the birth of Bode, who checked in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and 19 inches long, according to Greinke's wife, Emily, who posted the news on her Twitter account.
Entering Sunday's game, Greinke is only 151/3 innings shy of tying former Dodger Orel Hershiser, whose 59-inning streak at the end of the 1988 season broke the mark of 58 set in 1968 by another Dodger, Don Drysdale.
