The Yankees have lost five of seven games, were just swept by the White Sox and currently hold a three game lead on Tampa Bay for the AL East lead after leading the division by double-digit games in July.

In other words, Joe Girardi is in no mood to turn the other cheek.

Displaying a lot more fight than his team has shown lately, Girardi stepped away from his post-game news conference to confront a White Sox fan who was repeatedly yelling "Yankees suck!" in the background.

Then, acting as if nothing happened, Girardi walked back over to the reporters and carried on as if he never left.

Imagine what would happen if someone ever dissed Girardi's binder to his face.
