Watch the Jackie Robinson '42' movie trailer

We'll just go ahead and presume all you other in OBP land already know and understand the massive impact Jackie Robinson (and Branch Rickey) had on Major League Baseball and America in 1947.

Well, there's a movie coming to the big screen in April 2013 that looks at their relationship and brings Robinson's story to the forefront 66 years after he made history.

Expect a huge promotional push for "42" starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford as the next baseball season begins. But in the meantime, let's start with the "42" trailer, released this past Thursday. Just forgive the anachronism of late 1940s Robinson with the lyrical stylings of 2000s hip-hop stars Jay-Z and Rihanna.
