3 fun facts about Raymond Felton

Three things you may not have already known about Knicks point guard Raymond Felton, who is the subject of a feature story in Thursday's NBA preview section running in Newsday.
1. He was teammates with Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire in the 2002 McDonald’s All-American game played at Madison Square Garden. Felton had five points and four assists helping the East Team to the win.
2. Felton was the top-rated prep point guard (Latta H.S., South Carolina) in 2002, and beat out Anthony and Stoudemire as Naismith Player of the Year, given to high school basketball’s top male athlete.
3. In his first stint with the Knicks, Felton got lost driving from White Plains to The Garden for the team’s open practice. He ended up on the Tappan Zee Bridge and ultimately found his way to MSG through New Jersey.
