Jason Kidd coming back to Knicks?
Jason Kidd hasn’t publicly committed to returning next season, but Knicks GM Glen Grunwald said Tuesday: “We look forward to having him again next year.”
Kidd, 40, was scoreless in the last 10 playoff games and benched the second halves of Games 5 and 6 against Indiana. Speculation is Kidd could seek a buyout, but Grunwald and Woodson said retirement wasn’t discussed in Monday’s exit meeting.
“He sounded like he’s coming back,” Grunwald said.
“I thought he is, based on our conversations, but that could change," Woodson said. “You never know."
