Walt Frazier's high school court named after him

Walt Frazier on Tuesday had the court at David T. Howard Middle School in Atlanta dedicated in his honor.
Frazier, a Hall of Famer with the Knicks and MSG Networks’ longtime Knicks analyst, graduated from David T. Howard High School at that site in 1963. The high school closed in 1976, but later was renovated and reopened as a middle school in 2020.
The court now will be known as the Walt “Clyde” Frazier Gym Court/Gymnasium.

Neil Best first worked at Newsday in 1982, returned in 1985 after a detour to Alaska and has been here since, specializing in high schools, college basketball, the NFL and most recently sports media and business.
