You still may remember that time last season when Lakers forward Metta World Peace viciously elbowed James Harden in the head, but hey, he has a softer side, too.

So don't be upset that MWP scored a dismal three points in 36 minutes during Tuesday night's loss to the Mavericks, because even if this basketball thing is fading for him, Metta has a second career ready to go as an actor.

MWP, who is credited by his actual name, Ron Artest, plays the role of detective Garlin Fincher in the Lifetime adaptation of Nancy Grace's book “The Eleventh Victim.” The movie premieres Saturday.

Fincher exclaims at one point in the trailer,“Hey, I still got skills.” We're just not sure if he means on the basketball court or on the set. And the laughter that greets his line is pretty apt.

Warning: there are a couple salty words, though this is Lifetime so they aren't HBO caliber, or even regular Metta World Peace caliber.
