Brooklyn Nets' City Connect uniforms for 2024-25 season
The Nets' 2024-25 NBA City Connect uniforms were created with renowned artist and Brooklyn resident KAWS.
KAWS is the third Brooklyn icon the Nets have paid homage to through their City Connect uniforms, joining The Notorious B.I.G. and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The overall uniform design takes inpiration from KAWS' 10part artwork "Tension." It is meant to be evocative of the artist’s signature eye-catching abstract paintings.
The "Brooklyn" lettering on the jersey is inspired by the artist’s graphic style with the remixed Nets logo on the shorts given the same treatment.
The remixed Nets logo on the shorts is inspired by the artist’s graphic style and picks up from the treatment on the jersey.
KAWS’ signature “XX” design motif is located on the waistband of the shorts
KAWS’ autograph is woven into the jersey directly above the tag.
“It was a pleasure to design my second City Edition uniform for the Nets, honoring my local team and community while paying tribute to the borough of Brooklyn,” said KAWS.
