P.J.: Time to take a look at Hump again

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Kris Humphries has been on the outs for the better part of the last two weeks, particularly since P.J. Carlesimo dropped him from the rotation last week.
But that may be changing in the near future.
Carlesimo indicated he's going to find a way to slide Humphries, who was benched in the rotation in favor or Mirza Teletovic, into the mix once more.
"We've go get Hump in the lineup back soon," Carlesimo said after the Nets' short practice at the PNY Center. "His conditioning is good. He’s done a lot of extra stuff with Jeremy. The thing he hasn’t done is be on the floor in a while."
Since March 2 in Chicago to be exact, when he was on the court for only four minutes. He's been firmly glued to the bench in the Nets' last five games, in which they are 4-1.
"I’m not going to say I’m happy and all that," Humphries said. "But it’s coach's job to make decisions and be held accountable for those decisions and it’s my job to be ready to play."
Humphries, who signed a two-year, $24-million deal in the offseason and was shopped leading up to last month's trade deadline, said he hasn't lost his mental edge.
"I’m as confident as I’ve ever been in my game," he said. "I’m confident that if I get the minutes I’m still a double-double guy. You can’t always judge everything by numbers. Sometimes it’s not in your control. So for me it’s just helping the team win and trying not to make it about me and making it about the team winning."
"Obviously you have to look out for yourself and your career. But it’s a team sport."
