Oregon State and Washington State to meet twice next season
CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State's and Washington State's football teams will meet twice next season before reviving the Pac-12 conference in 2026.
The Beavers and Cougars will play each other in Corvallis on Nov. 1 and then in Pullman on Nov. 29, Oregon State announced Wednesday.
Oregon State and Washington State were the lone teams remaining in the Pac-12 after realignment last year. This season, the conference had a scheduling agreement with the Mountain West, but the deal was not extended for another season.
The Pac-12 announced they would be joined by four Mountain West teams in a new Pac-12 starting in 2026 — Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Colorado State — after Utah State had already agreed to join the conference. Gonzaga also joined as a non-football member.
The remaining Mountain West teams signed a memorandum of understanding to stay in the league. They include Air Force, Nevada, New Mexico, San Jose State, UNLV, Wyoming and Hawaii.
In addition to the games against Oregon State, Washington State's schedule next season includes home games against Idaho, Louisiana Tech, San Diego State, Toledo and Washington, and road games against North Texas, Mississippi and Virginia.
Oregon State's home schedule includes California, Fresno State, Houston, Lafayette, Wake Forest and Sam Houston. The Beavers visit Texas Tech, Oregon, Appalachian State and Tulsa.
