STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- After everything the Penn State Nittany Lions have already been through this year, one loss isn't going to cause panic.

Concern? Well, maybe.

But coach Bill O'Brien's crew took a day or so to sulk about the opening loss last week to Ohio, before it shifted focus over to Virginia and the season's first road trip this weekend.

O'Brien said Tuesday there are some positives to build on, like a Nittany Lions offensive line that didn't allow a sack, or how the defense stopped the run up the middle.

O'Brien said he's not using youth and inexperience on offense as an excuse after Penn State was shut out in the second half against the Bobcats.

He placed emphasis on sustaining drives and having his defense get more third-down stops.
