There aren’t a lot of high-profile opponents on Rutgers’ non-conference slate, but they will be available to local fans who aren’t planning on traveling.

The Scarlet Knights host St. Peter’s in their regular season opener on November 9. That will be followed by a game vs. Sacred Heart (Nov. 12), a road game against Princeton (Nov. 16) and a home matchup against Boston University on November 20.

The schedule resumes November 25 with a two-game road swing against UNC-Greensboro and Mississippi in the Big East/SEC challenge on December 1.

Rutgers will play Iona in the Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden on December 8. After that the Scarlet Knights close out their non-conference schedule with four straight home games versus George Washington, UAB, Howard and Rider.
