St. John's Kieran McArdle breaks own record for points in a game

Kieran McArdle broke his own single-game school record for points, racking up six goals and seven assists as St. John's beat Robert Morris, 17-11, Saturday in men's lacrosse.
The junior attack, and former Connetquot standout, had totaled 12 points against Rutgers earlier this season.
McArdle's first goal, with 10:31 left in the first quarter, gave St. John's a 2-1 lead it didn't relinquish. Alex Lagodich added three goals and Colin Keegan two goals and an assist for the Red Storm (6-2), which is off to its best start since the program's reinstatement in 2005. Jeff Lowman made 15 saves in the win.
Tyler Digby scored three goals for RMU (4-4).
Farmingdale State 15, Maritime 5: Sophomore Matthew Finn scored a career-high nine goals to lead Farmingdale State (3-4, 1-0 Skyline). Finn came within two goals of matching the program record.
Mike Strebel had a goal and six assists for the Rams. Bobby Thomas added two goals and two assists, and Thomas Fallon made 10 saves in the win. Nick Barbuto had 13 saves for Maritime (3-7, 0-1).
Adelphi 10, Franklin Pierce 5: Nick Watson had five goals and an assist as Adelphi (4-0, 2-0 Northeast-10) scored five times in the fourth quarter. Eric Janssen made 13 saves in the first half. Franklin Pierce falls to 1-3, 0-2.
USMMA 8, FDU-Florham 2: Geoff Harty scored four goals and Michael Ackerman had a goal and three assists for USMMA (4-3). Alex Peyreigne made 14 saves in the win.
LIU Post 15, NYIT 5: Matty Beccaris had five goals and two assists to lead Post (6-1, 2-0 ECC). Justin Patterson, Connor Drost and Ryan Slane each added two goals and Tim Bradley made nine saves. Cory Triola scored twice for NYIT (5-2, 0-1).
Onondaga CC 22, Nassau CC 7: Vaughn Harris had four goals and five assists and Jordan Saunderson added four goals and two assists to lead No. 1 Onondaga (5-0) in the NJCAA. Michael Iacono scored three goals for Nassau (3-3).
Limestone 10, Dowling 7: Corey Rich had three goals and two assists to lead Limestone. Matt Crough had two goals, two assists and five groundballs for Dowling (4-2).
WOMEN'S LACROSSE
Stony Brook 19, Vermont 5: Demmianne Cook and Michelle Rubino each scored five goals to lead Stony Brook (7-2). Janine Hillier added three goals and five assists and Frankie Caridi made 10 saves.Adelphi 18, Franklin Pierce 1: Devan Crimi had six goals and two assists to lead Adelphi (6-0, 3-0 Northeast-10). Sara Sangiorgio added four goals, Alexa Froccaro three goals and two assists.
Farmingdale State 17, Maritime 1: Gabrielle Zutter had two goals, leading a group of 16 players who scored for the Rams (5-2, 3-0 Skyline).
Bentley 13, Molloy 12: Megan Wiggins had four goals and Taylor Bastien scored the winner with a second left for Bentley (3-1). Molloy's Christie Roell had tied it at 12 with eight seconds remaining. Nicole Mastrianni scored four goals, and Alexa Toscano a goal and five assists for Molloy (3-5).
