Aaron Curry at Giants minicamp
The most conspicuous player at the Giants’ rookie minicamp was the first round pick … of the Seahawks in 2009.
Aaron Curry, once the fourth overall selection in the draft and now a free agent with questionable knees, was one of the spectators at the first practice of the camp. He spent most of the time watching from the sidelines and spending time watching the linebackers.
While the rookies and tryouts were working on moves, Curry was off to the side doing some shadow boxing on the same drills.
“He’s in for a tryout and we’ll see where it goes,” Tom Coughlin said. “There’s interest.”
Curry visited with the team Thursday and the day ended without an agreement. Friday is a new day, though.
“We brought him back in this morning, talked to him a little bit this morning,” Coughlin said.
As for the shape of Curry’s knees, Coughlin said: “Let’s just see what happens.”
