Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas had surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury in his foot and likely will miss the rest of the season, according to multiple reports.

Thomas was limping near the end of the Giants' 17-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night. He had an MRI on his foot Monday morning and reportedly met with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in North Carolina on Tuesday.

Thomas, the fourth overall pick in the 2020 draft, signed a five-year, $117.5 million contract extension (with $67 million guaranteed) in June 2023, which locked him up with the Giants through the 2029 season. The 25-year-old is considered the anchor to an offensive line that had made marked improvements this season. They have allowed 14 sacks through six games, and the Giants have rushed for 635 yards and three touchdowns.
