The Giants introduced Ben McAdoo as their new head coach during a press conference on Friday.

The Giants' former offensive coordinator becomes the franchise's 17th head coach after Tom Coughlin announced last week that he would be stepping down.

Coughlin was among the many people McAdoo thanked in his opening remarks.

McAdoo said that on his first day as the Giants' offensive coordinator, Coughlin told him, "Don't mess with the clocks."

Coughlin, who's known for his punctuality, set the clocks five minutes fast, and McAdoo said he will continue to do that. "That's TC time. That's part of Giants' culture."

McAdoo said the Giants' theme of 2016 will be "evolution, not revolution."
