It’s the traditional short-week question: Which is greater, the physical or the mental challenge?

With the Giants, as they prepare for the Panthers on Thursday night, asking two players leads to two different answers.

“I think it’s more mental than anything,” Antrel Rolle said. “You just have to string everything together.”

Chris Snee, however, said the hard part is getting his body ready for the short turn-around. He’ll have plenty of time to do his usual studying.

“I’ll get to watch all the clips, all the plays I normally would,” he said. “Break down the same amount of film. I came in bright and early this morning. I watched a lot of film and mentally I’ll be ready. The only thing is now you have a short week and you don’t have a chance to go through full speed -- those looks in practice -- which is challenging. You know, as far as tendencies and stuff like that, I’ll be prepared.”

Even Eli Manning said he’ll be squeezing in some last-minute studying, probably right up until kickoff.

“I think we’ll get everything in, but some stuff might not be until tomorrow, before the game,” he said. “Normally, everything would be done by tomorrow. We’ll have more meetings tomorrow, and even then, the day of the game, have some more meetings to make sure we get all of our preparation in.”
