Giants safety Brandon Meriweather sees the Falcons offense as more a reflection of offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan than quarterback Matt Ryan.

"I don't think it's Matt," he said. "I think it's more of the offensive coordinator. Depending on the play call depends on what he'll do."

Meriweather was in Washington when Shanahan was there, so he knows a little bit about his mentality and his tendencies.

"Just a little bit," he said with a grin. "Just a little bit."

Of course all of that knowledge will be useless if the Giants can't stop Julio Jones and Roddy White. Jones is the reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week and considered to be one of -- if not the -- top receivers in the NFL.

"Every week we play the best receiver in the league, right?" Meriweather said. "I think last week y'all said Dez [Bryant] was the best receiver in the league, now it's Julio and next week it's going to be DeSean [Jackson in Washington]. So every week is a good challenge and we look forward to it."
