4th Round (112 overall)

DANIEL BELLINGER

Pos.: TE, 6-5, 253

College/Year: San Diego State, Sr.

Physical blocker who can also catch the ball (31 receptions, 357 yards, 2 TDs in 2021). Mostly an in-line Y tight end but has experience lining up at fullback, too, and can be split out at times. Adds immediate depth and will likely see early meaningful playing time.

4th Round (114 overall)

DANE BELTON

Pos.: S, 6-1, 205

College/Year: Iowa, Jr.

Played Iowa’s “Cash” position on defense which is a hybrid linebacker/safety, but he also lined up as a true safety where he projects in the NFL. All-Big Ten with five INTs last season. Scouts are unimpressed by his instincts in space but he is better suited playing close to the line of scrimmage.

5th Round (146 overall)

MICAH McFADDEN

Pos.: LB, 6-1, 240

College/Year: Indiana, Sr.

Two-time team captain led Hoosiers with 77 tackles, 15.5 for loss, 6.5 sacks, 3 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles last season, but he also had 16 missed tackles. Muscle-bound, but his overall frame is a little undersized for inside linebacker.

5th Round (147 overall)

D.J. DAVIDSON

Pos.: DT, 6-3, 327

College/Year: Arizona State, R-Sr.

In 2021 posted 57 tackles, 6.5 for loss, before opting out of his team’s bowl game to prepare for the draft. Has the strength to be a run-stuffer and may find a place as NT in a 3-4 scheme on early downs. Limited in providing more than a clogging body in the middle with little push in pass rushing.

5th Round (173 overall)

MARCUS McKETHAN

Pos.: G, 6-6, 340

College/Year: North Carolina, R-Sr.

Started at RD for three seasons. College teammate of Giants third-round pick Josh Ezeudu and the third OL selected by the Giants. Physical player better suited to moving piles and mauling defenders in front of him than making blocks on the move.

6th Round (182 overall))

DARRIAN BEAVERS

Pos.: LB, 6-4, 237

College/Year: Cincinnati, Sr.

Butkus Award finalist had 105 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2021 as IIB. Breakout season that first caught the attention of NFL scouts was 2020 when he had 58 tackles with 2.5 sacks. Doesn’t have lateral speed to be a sideline-to-sideline player, but can be an in-the-box thumper.
