Q: How did Antrel Rolle's homecoming go?

A: The former Cardinals safety had an interception against his buddy Larry Fitzgerald and a big pass breakup on a thirddown play late in the fourth quarter. But Rolle said "this game was a lot bigger than me."

Q: Still, it must have been nice to get the pick against Fitzgerald, outjumping him for a ball down the sideline?

A: "I don't even know if I outjumped him then," Rolle said. "I just saw the ball and came down with it."

Q: Did Lawrence Tynes finally kick a field goal?

A: Yes, but he didn't see it go through because he was flattened by Patrick Peterson on the kick. "I don't know if people know I got hit there and they're trying to hit me there or something," said Tynes, who missed most of the preseason with a bruised right thigh and was hit on the right hip Sunday. "They didn't intimidate me."

Q. Will the injury be a setback for Tynes?

A: He said he feels OK and he did play through the rest of the game.

Q: Any update on David Baas or Rocky Bernard?

A: The center left the game at halftime with a burner. He appeared to be in discomfort afterward but said he would wait until the doctors looked at him Monday before talking about the injury. Bernard left early in the third quarter with rib injuries and did not return.

Q: Why was Tom Coughlin so upset with the officials?

A: He felt that he should have been given his timeout back after the Cardinals challenged the play in the fourth quarter. He was not, and though the Giants were able to overcome it, having an extra chance to stop the clock might have come in handy.

Q: What's with Dave Tollefson's sack dance again?

A: It's derived from "Family Guy" and the show's obsession with the Patrick Swayze film "Roadhouse." After each sack, Tollefson swings his leg around and takes a fighting stance.

Q: Can Jake Ballard catch a clean touchdown?

A: The tight end almost had two scores, but both were reviewed and only one stood. The first was on a pass from Eli Manning in which the quarterback rolled to his right and then threw back to the left to Ballard, who had to wait for the ball and was tackled at the 1. The second one in the back of the end zone made it 27-24 with 3:37 left. Ballard said he knew he had control of the ball and both feet in bounds. The officials agreed with him.
