The Giants’ 2025 schedule is out and the road to improving from a three-win campaign last season won’t start easy.

The Giants open with two road games against division rivals -- at the Commanders on Sept. 7 and at Dallas on Sept. 14. Their home opener is against defending AFC champion Kansas City on Sept. 21 in prime time on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

That game will be Patrick Mahomes’ second career game at MetLife Stadium. The Giants follow that contest by hosting the Chargers on Sept. 28.

It’s a daunting slate that’s part of the Giants having the league’s hardest schedule based on last season’s won-loss records. The Giants’ opponents have a league-best .579 winning percentage from last year. A total of 10 games next season, including six of their first eight, are against teams that made the playoffs last year.

Three of the Giants’ four October games are on the road, including quarterback Russell Wilson’s return to Denver on Oct. 19. They play at the Saints on Oct. 5 in Week 5. They also have a Thursday Night Football game at home against the defending champion Eagles on Oct. 9.

It’s a stretch that’ll be key to watch for how the future plays out. If the Giants start slow, the whispers around coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen’s job security will surely get louder.

The Giants’ only other prime time game on the schedule is Dec. 1 at the Patriots on Monday Night Football. They also host the 49ers (Nov. 2), Packers (Nov. 16), Commanders (Dec. 14), Vikings (Dec. 21) and the Cowboys in the regular-season finale on Jan. 4.

Their remaining road games are at the Bears (Nov. 9), Lions (Nov. 23) and the Raiders (Dec. 27).

The Giants open preseason play at the Bills, with time and date to be announced. They'll also face the Jets (Aug. 16, 7 p.m.) and Patriots (Aug. 21, 8 p.m.) at MetLife Stadium.
