1. LAWRENCE TAYLOR
Linebacker, 1981-93
What more can you say about the most dominant pass rusher in NFL history? Taylor could change the course of a game with a single pass rush around the end. How dangerous was he? Offensive coordinators would routinely revolve their game plan around staying away from Taylor as much as possible, often with futile results. Taylor was a 10-time Pro Bowler and an eight-time first-team All Pro. When he retired, he had a franchise-best 132.5 sacks. Taylor was a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 1998. Credit: Getty

Speaking of Super Bowl rings ...

Lawrence Taylor is auctioning off his Super Bowl XXV ring this spring, according to a release from SCPAuctions.com. So far the ring has received 12 bids with the current bid at $37,982 but the estimated value of the ring is between $75,000 and $100,000 according to the release. The austion ends on Saturday and you can bid online.

Here's how the release describes the item:

"Arguably the most significant Super Bowl player ring ever offered publicly, it features two football shaped diamonds on the face surrounded by worn blue enameling framed by seventeen smaller diamonds. Design elements include the name “TAYLOR” on the left shank above a Giants helmet and his number “56”. Engraved on the interior band in the full name “LAWRENCE TAYLOR”. The ring shows considerable wear, that in some eyes, only enhances its aura. The ring includes a notarized letter of authenticity from Taylor."
