Giants add former Titans OC Tim Kelly as tight ends coach
The Giants continued Tuesday to remake their coaching staff under Brian Daboll by adding tight ends coach Tim Kelly.
Like Shane Bowen, who the Giants officially named defensive coordinator Tuesday, Kelly comes from Mike Vrabel’s former staff with the Tennessee Titans.
Kelly was the Titans’ offensive coordinator in 2023, and their passing game coordinator in 2022.
Kelly replaces Andy Bischoff, who left the Giants by making a lateral move in joining Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers staff.
Bischoff was close with Darren Waller from their time together in Baltimore and was instrumental in Waller's transition from wide receiver to tight end. Keeping Waller healthy during the 2024 season will again be one of the key objectives for the Giants. Waller played in 12 games last season.
