LAS VEGAS — The Jets’ front office continues to undergo changes.

Chad Alexander, the Jets' director of player personnel, has left the team to become assistant general manager of the Chargers. Los Angeles recently hired Joe Hortiz as general manager and Jim Harbaugh as coach. Hortiz and Alexander worked together previously with the Ravens.

Alexander had been with the Jets for five seasons and worked closely with general manager Joe Douglas. Alexander is the second member of Douglas’ staff who has moved on this offseason. The Jets and assistant general manager Rex Hogan mutually parted ways earlier in the offseason.

It’s unclear if the Jets will promote from within or look outside to replace those two important positions.
